The entire nation eagerly awaits January 22, 2024, when Lord Shri Ram will grace the sanctum sanctorum of the majestic and newly constructed temple at his birthplace in Ayodhya. Commencing from January 16, 2024, various ceremonies and rituals leading up to the consecration will be conducted, culminating in the Pran Pratishtha.

Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has released a detailed schedule for the 7-day program surrounding the consecration. Let’s take a look at what to expect during 

Ram Lala’s Pran Pratishtha:

The auspicious timing for the Yog of Lord Shri Ram Lala’s Pran Pratishtha is set for Poush Shukla Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, which falls on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Event Date and Venue:

Adhering to all traditional customs, the consecration ceremony will be conducted during the Abhijit Muhurat. The pre-ceremonial rituals leading to the Pran Pratishtha have commenced from January 16, 2024, and will continue until January 21, 2024.

The meticulous observance of Shastriya traditions and cultural practices adds a sacred touch to this historic event, reflecting the rich heritage that surrounds the consecration of deities.

As the nation awaits this divine moment, the entire week leading up to the Pran Pratishtha promises to be filled with spiritual fervor, cultural celebrations, and a deep sense of devotion. “Adhivaas Process and Acharyas

Typically, a Pran Pratishtha ceremony involves seven adhivaas, with a minimum of three adhivaas practiced as part of the ritual. Providing coordination, support, and guidance for all the procedures during the ceremony will be 121 acharyas. Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid will oversee the supervision, coordination, and direction of all procedures, while Kashi’s Lakshmikant Dixit will serve as the Chief Acharya.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will witness the presence of honorable personalities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mohan Bhagwat (Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other esteemed individuals.

Diverse Representations

Representatives from various spiritual traditions, religious practices, academies, and more than 150 acharyas from different schools of thought will participate in the ceremony. Additionally, prominent figures from over 50 tribal traditions, including Adivasis, Girivasis, Tatavasis, and Dweepvasis, will attend the program to witness the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple premises.

For the first time in Indian history, residents from mountains, forests, coastal areas, islands, etc., are coming together to participate in an event of this magnitude. This unique gathering represents a diverse and unparalleled assembly. Alongside this, various traditions including Shaiva, Vaishnav, Shakta, Ganapatya, Patya, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Dashanam Shankar, Ramanand, Ramanuj, Nimbark, Madhva, Vishnu-nami, Ramasnehi, Ghisapanth, Garibdasi, Gaudiya, Kabirpanthi, Valmiki, Shankardev (Assam), Madhav Dev, ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Gayatri Parivar, Anukul Chandra Thakur Tradition, Odisha’s Mahima Society, Akali, Nirankari, Namdhari (Punjab), Radhaswami, and Swaminarayan, among others, will actively participate in this grand event.
